Antwerp: Day 3
More images of my wandering through Belgian streets in Antwerp. On this day I walked through the Grote Markt (Great Market Square), where the Antwerp City Hall is with its tremendous fountain. From there I wandered on through the winding streets and through countless adorable little shops.
Antwerp: Day 2/3/4
These are images from my exploration through the Antwerp city streets. Antwerp is a beautiful city with gorgeous old architecture, tiny winding streets and grand old cathedrals. Whenever we weren’t doing scheduled activities I would break off from the group and wander through the twisting side streets, stopping in all of the charming shops to look at the kitschy/ancient/touristy wares that each shop sold. In between shopping and staring upwards at the grand architecture I would slip into a Friture to pick up a bundle of delicious french fries… It’s a good thing I’m not staying in Antwerp, or I would be huge from only eating fries all the time.
